Meet Alexis— A timeline queen, cake-testing specialist, and firm believer that weddings should feel joyful, not stressful.

Growing up I have always loved being the behind the scenes help. Seeing needs and jumping in to make people feel seen and loved. Weddings are the perfect way I can help make a couple’s big day feel intentional and stress free! I love watching a couple take their vows and celebrate with the people they love most.
Finding joy in everyday adventures with my two little boys and watching them experience the world with wonder.
I am deeply grateful for the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross and the way it has shaped my life and faith. I wouldn’t be who I am today without it.

Payton is one of those planners, that as a fellow vendor, you wish you could work with over and over again. Communication is top tier and one of the easiest and the most adaptable people to work with. She not only prioritizes her clients, but works with all vendors well and smoothly that their wishes are also taken into great consideration. The past weekend was one of the craziest weekends, weather wise I have ever dealt with and through all the many challenges, Payton did it with a smile on her face and with ease. In the end everyone was happy with the outcome and could not have done it without her. If you are considering the Intent- do it, you will not regret the magical experience and catering to you will receive from them.

Payton and her team with The Intent absolutely blew us away!!! They made our wedding day so incredibly special, kept everything on time, and made sure transitions flowed seamlessly. As a day that some brides coin as one of the most stressful, I didn't have to lift a finger to have everything pan out as planned. Payton from the beginning was kind, sweet, caring, thoughtful, organized, and thorough. Her planning guide collected all the meticulous and important details in one place so I had one lovely document to look back at if I was feeling overwhelmed or lost. She always made herself available to me if I had any pressing or anxious questions as our day approached. During the rehearsal and on the day, she was professional, polite, fun, and so incredibly organized! Her team member who joined us was also so kind and easygoing, making me feel way less anxious moments before walking down the aisle! As a DIY bride, I had a lot of personal details and touches that I wanted to make sure were placed correctly and Payton executed the vision perfectly! She even went above and beyond and used creative vision to place bows and butterflies all over, creating the most magical reception space for us! Payton also spent a lot of time with me discussing all my ideas and thoughts, making sure no stone was left unturned with all of my thrifted and vintage items. Payton and The Intent are a must have for your wedding day if you are a bride who wants to make sure everything goes perfectly! If you are on the fence, take this as your sign to get them locked down for your big day!!

We thought we had all our ducks in a row a week prior to my daughter's wedding. We found out quickly in that last week that our wedding planner wasn't capable of handling a black tie event. Payton to the rescue!! Payton stepped in out Tuesday prior to the wedding and working tirelessly she and Britt made my daughter's dreams come true. I could never express in words how grateful I am for them. I can't imagine how much better it could have been if she had more than a week to work on it. They had a great deal of patience in a high pressure situation. They handled a couple of highly stressful conversions on the day that allowed my daughter and now son in-law to have their dreams realized, which allowed me to not be the "heavy".

Hands down, Payton and her team was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Even though her contract started 30 days before our wedding day, communication started way before then. We had multiple phone calls and emails with her to explain our vision, ask questions, and we stayed in communication throughout our engagement. When we were 30 days out from our wedding, she took over all communication with every vendor and made sure they had what they needed. On the day of she brought the girls coffee in the morning and did multiple check ins with us to make sure we had what we needed until it was show time. I felt supported every step of the way with her! If you are planning your own wedding and want low stress and be able to enjoy your day without being pulled in every direction, hire The Intent! You won't regret it!
